MAISONS FRANCE CONFORT Group continues to implement its growth strategy through the acquisition of the entire share capital of the company CAMIF HABITAT and its subsidiary ILLICO TRAVAUX effective as of 1 st October 2015, becoming the leader of "turnkey" renovation solutions for houses in France.
CAMIF HABITAT operates on the maintenance and improvement of housing market throughout France based on a network of 300 contractors and architects as well as over 1,500 artisans.
With 30 years of experience and over 50,000 work sites, CAMIF HABITAT positions itself as the specialist brand for renovation work, sharing the same commitments and goals as the MAISONS FRANCE CONFORT Group namely:
- To provide advice, safety and comfort for carrying out work,
- To design projects, coordinate and carry out work, looking after all stages,
- To commit to an agreed price, completion times and proper completion in the context of a work contract (general contractor).
The company ILLICO TRAVAUX, established in 2000, is a subsidiary 100% owned by CAMIF HABITAT. This company specialises in brokerage of work through a network of around forty franchisees. The company receives a commission on work sold through its franchisees and, if applicable, site supervision support fees from the client.
These new brands bolster the renovation products already marketed by the Group and will coexist with the RENOVERT brand.
CAMIF HABITAT and its subsidiary ILLICO TRAVAUX employ 53 people and posted the following consolidated financial performance results in the fiscal year 2014:
• Sales of €37M,
• Net income of €1M,
• Net cash position of €4.1M at 31/12/2014.
Mr. Nicolas DAUMONT, aged 38, current Chairman of the Group since 2009, retains his duties with a commitment to support the continued development which is expected of these two brands.
This external growth transaction fits perfectly with the diversification strategy initiated by the MAISONS FRANCE CONFORT Group and will enable a significant and rapid increase in the renovation activity.
Beyond the development of this source of growth, the Group is also anticipating that significant synergies will be created between its various activities.
